At Autism Proud we value the commitment to your therapeutic journey and the time set aside for your sessions. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, necessitating the need to cancel or reschedule appointments. To ensure efficient scheduling and accommodate all clients, we have established the following therapy cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation Notice: Clients must provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling a therapy session. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to other clients in need.
2. Cancellation by Email: All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made by email to your therapist. This ensures clear communication and a written record of the request.
3. No Refunds for Non-Compliance: If the cancellation policy is not followed, and the required 48 hours' notice is not provided, the session fee will not be refunded. Exceptions may be made in cases of emergencies or extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of your therapist.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this cancellation policy. By working together, we can create a supportive and effective therapeutic environment for all clients. 

 At Autism Proud, we are committed to making therapy accessible to those facing financial challenges while also recognising the dedication of individuals in specific fields. As part of our commitment to support diverse needs, we offer concession sessions at a reduced rate of £75 to clients who meet the following criteria:

1. Full-Time Education: Clients who can provide valid proof of full-time education, such as a student ID or enrolment letter.
2. Receiving Unemployment Benefits: Clients who can show evidence of currently receiving unemployment benefits.
3. NHS Employees: Healthcare professionals working for the NHS can receive concession sessions by presenting their valid NHS employee identification card as proof of eligibility.

Please note that concession sessions are limited and subject to availability. Due to the reduced rate and the importance of accommodating all clients, there may be fewer slots available for concession appointments, and there could be longer wait times for these sessions.

We understand the significance of receiving support during challenging times and aim to assist individuals who can benefit from therapy but face financial constraints.
